Every year hundreds of thousands of wild animals are killed exclusively to become "trophies." Brutal trophy hunting is senseless and puts rare species at risk of endangerment.
Five years ago this month, Cecil the lion, a protected lion living in the Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe, was lured with bait and killed by an American dentist looking for a thrill. In Cecil's honor, please pledge to stand with DDAL as we fight to end this senseless carnage.
Trophy hunting must end.
The loss of hundreds of thousands of innocent and vulnerable wild animals to trophy hunting is inexcusable. Today I pledge to stand with the Doris Day Animal League in the fight to end trophy hunting.
