As your constituent, I respectfully urge you to vocally oppose Rep. Steve King's "Protect Interstate Commerce Act" (HR 4879) amendment in any final Farm Bill. While he was successful in amending the House version, the Senate didn't include this poison pill language.

This dangerous language could undermine hundreds of state and local laws covering everything from food safety to child labor to animal welfare. It presents a major threat to people and animals nationwide.
