Enact the Farm Bill to protect animals!

Twice a decade, Congress passes a Farm Bill, which is a compilation of food and farm issues bundled into one massive package. Right now, the U.S. Congress is poised to vote on a final bill that does right by animals it omits the outrageous King Amendment and contains three vital pro-animal measures.

Please urge your U.S. Senators and Representative to vote in favor of the 2018 Farm Bill.

Please take a moment to call your two U.S. Senators and Representative; you can find their phone numbers here. You can say, "As your constituent, I urge you to vote in favor of the 2018 Farm Bill. As an animal welfare supporter, I’m very pleased that this bill omits Representative Steve King’s amendment that threatened to block state and local laws protecting animals and consumers and that the bill contains three pro-animal welfare bills: the PAWS Act to protect domestic violence victims and their pets, the PACE Act to crackdown on animal fighting, and the Dog and Cat Meat Trade Prohibition Act to ensure this horrific industry never takes hold in the U.S.”

Calling is so important. Please do not skip this crucial step. Then, personalize and submit the letter below to send a follow-up message.

Dear Legislator,

As your constituent, I am asking you to please vote in favor of the Farm Bill negotiated by leaders of the Senate and House Agriculture Committees. As I'd hoped, this package omits the disastrous and very controversial King amendment and includes three key animal protection measures: the PAWS Act, the PACE Act, and the Dog and Cat Meat Trade Prohibition Act.
