Idaho: Don't Let Abusers Cover Up Cruelty!

UPDATE: Thank you for all your efforts in the fight against the ag-gag bill aimed at criminalizing whistleblowers who expose animal cruelty on Idaho's factory farms. Unfortunately, as you may have heard, Governor Otter signed the bill into law.

We always knew this would be an uphill battle, considering how much money animal agribusiness has to spread around the statehouse. But you deserve to feel proud. We heard from many government officials that never in their careers had they received as many calls, emails and letters on an issue as they did in opposition to this bill. We showed that Idahoans care deeply about farm animals. This disappointing action by the state legislature and governor should be a rallying cry for animal welfare advocates all across the state to voice our dissatisfaction with our elected officials.

Please know that we will not stop fighting every day alongside you to reduce the suffering of animals used for food. Click here to find the latest actions you can take for animals.
