Denver, CO: Humane Lobby Day - February 20, 2014
First Baptist Church (Miller Hall room)

In partnership with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), Colorado Federation of Animal Welfare Agencies (CFAWA), Colorado Voters for Animals (CVA), and Colorado Citizens for Canine Welfare (3CW)

Colorado's animal advocates will soon fill the halls of the First Baptist Church in Denver for Humane Lobby Day 2014. You can be in on this exciting action, too! Join your HSUS state director Jacquelyn Pyun, the ASPCA, CFAWA, CVA, and 3CW for one day that can make all the difference for animals.

What is Humane Lobby Day? It's a one-day event where you can meet with your elected officials and their staff about animal protection issues in Colorado. There will be training with tips for lobbying, lunch, plus a bill briefing before we head to the capitol together. Don't worry if you're new to lobbying or are unfamiliar with the issues. What's important is that you're there.

Why is your participation in Lobby Day so critical? We know legislators are most motivated when their constituents take time to meet face-to-face. It's your chance to show how much animals mean to you. Read what animal advocates are saying about Humane Lobby Day»
