Sacramento, CA: Humane Lobby Day 2012 - June 12
CSAC Conference Center

Think only professional lobbyists can lobby? Think again! The Humane Society of the United States, the ASPCA and several California humane organizations* invite our members, supporters, and other animal advocates to speak up in favor of critical legislation affecting California's animals. Senate Bill 1221 will prohibit the cruel and inhumane "hounding" of bears and bobcats with packs of dogs.

Join us -- along with SB 1221 author Senator Ted Lieu (D-Torrance) -- at the state capitol to speak up for bears, bobcats and dogs at a noon-time rally and meetings with your state legislators to let them know that Californians really care about animals.

We will ensure you have a great experience and that you feel prepared to engage and make a difference for animals. Legislators are most motivated when their constituents make time to meet with them face to face. RSVP today to lend your voice for animals and make a difference in California. Contact Elise Traub if you have additional questions (NOTE: Each person planning to attend must register separately).

*We are so grateful to our partners at Born Free USA, the Humane Society Veterinary Medical Association, the Lake Tahoe Humane Society & SPCA, the Marin Humane Society, Project Coyote, the Sacramento SPCA, the San Francisco SPCA, the Santa Cruz SPCA, and the Yolo County SPCA.
