Lawrence, KS: Lobbying for Animals Seminar - December 15, 2013 Bambino's Restaurant
The Humane Society of the United States invites our members and supporters to join your Kansas State Director Midge Grinstead to discuss current issues and learn what you can do for animals in Kansas.
We'll show you how to be an effective citizen advocate for animals and teach you basic, but effective, lobby techniques. You'll learn how citizens play a role in changing animal welfare laws in our state, how a bill becomes a law, what influences a legislator, which animal-related bills and issues are being considered by the Kansas Legislature, and what you can do to get them passed.
RSVP today to this free seminar and lend your voice for animals in Kansas. Contact Midge Grinstead at mgrinstead@humanesociety.org if you have additional questions.
