Donate to help injured pets and wildlife
A story in the Bible (Matthew 10:29) relates that not a sparrow falls without his Maker knowing. The Sparrow Fund was created in this spirit -- that every life matters. A special project begun by Wayne and Lisa Pacelle, the Sparrow Fund is designed to step in to care for injured pets and wildlife when no one else is equipped to do so.
"HSUS works on the biggest problems confronting animals, whether factory farming, animal testing, or the trade in wildlife parts," said Pacelle. "But we also don’t forget about individual animals in crisis, whether a creature struck by an automobile, injured by a surge of electricity on a power line, or any other misfortune the befalls them. Lisa and I wanted to create a fund to reimburse veterinarians or animal shelters providing relief and care to animals without any safety net and who wouldn’t otherwise get the emergency treatment they need. That's the purpose of the HSUS Sparrow Fund."
When you make a gift to The Sparrow Fund today, you can be certain your donation will go straight to the care of injured wildlife and homeless animals across the country who otherwise may not have a chance at life.
With your donation of $25 or more, you'll receive a one-year subscription to All Animals, The HSUS's award-winning bimonthly membership magazine. Plus, with every donation we’ll send you updates and action alerts so you can take quick, simple actions for animals each week.
