We speak for those who can't.

Make a donation to support the work of The Fund for Animals!

Your donation today will help to provide sanctuary, wildlife rehabilitation and release efforts, and veterinary care to thousands of animals each year.

Horses once tethered to stalls for years find refuge at the Duchess Sanctuary. Animals once abused and neglected can live peaceful and private lives at the Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch. At The Fund for Animals Wildlife Center, injured native wildlife is rehabilitated and released, and the center's permanent residents—wild animals once a part of the exotic pet trade—will live out their lives cared for and undisturbed. Cherished pets in remote underserved areas will receive the veterinary care they need.

Please make your special gift today to help animals. We'll send you news and stories about each of The Fund for Animals programs so you can keep up to date on our latest work and see first-hand how your donation is making a difference.

Alexander

Abandoned in a cage with no food or water, he now spends his days lounging in the sun.

Alexander was part of an exotic pet rescue in Atchison, Kansas. He was one of about a dozen dangerous wild animals who had been abandoned by their owner - left without food or water in cages that were inadequate in size and security.

Alexander is now being cared for in a safe environment at our Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch.

Your monthly donation will be used to support all of The Fund's critical work - from providing sanctuary to rehabilitating and releasing injured animals back into the wild. By adopting one of our rescued animals, your monthly donation of $18 (or whatever you can afford) will help The Fund for Animals provide safe haven to animals rescued from horrible cruelties.

By symbolically adopting one of these magnificent animals, you'll receive an adoption welcome kit, which includes:

  • A beautiful color photo of your adopted animal
  • Your adopted animal's bio
  • An adoption certificate
  • A letter thanking you for your support
  • Quarterly updates about your adopted animal
  • And - after your third monthly donation - a high-quality plush of your animal!

Midge

Freed from the lab, he now spends his days playing and laughing with his own family.

Midge was rescued from a research facility where he lived for 22 years. During that time he spent nine years confined to a cage and routinely was infected with Hepatitis B and other live viruses.

Midge has left the lab behind him and is now a member of our chimp family at our Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch where he enjoys playing with magazines and racing around his enclosure.

Sahara

Saved from the floors of the slaughterhouse, she now spends her days hanging out with her horse pals at our sanctuary.

Sahara was saved from an Illinois slaughterhouse in April 2007. She was one of thousands of horses who are targeted every year for slaughter to meet the demand for horse meat in Europe and Asia.

Sahara now lives a peaceful and secure life at our Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch.

Hannah Shirley

Rescued from a cramped and inhumane backyard enclosure, she now spends her days relaxing in her own natural pond.

Hannah Shirley, a 44-year-old Pygmy Hippo, was discovered in 2002 living illegally in the suburban backyard of a private citizen.

Luckily for Hannah Shirley, she was rescued and transported to our Fund for Animals Wildlife Center, where she has a 13,000 square-foot paddock, complete with her very own swimming pool.
