Chimp Haven is raising funds for the long-term, sanctuary care of retired chimpanzees who could live to be as old as 60. Please donate to help care for them today.

The National Institutes of Health announced a plan to retire hundreds of government-owned chimpanzees to sanctuary. Even before this historic announcement, it was determined that the 110 government-owned chimpanzees from the New Iberia Research Center in Louisiana would be retired to the federal chimpanzee sanctuary, Chimp Haven. The move was completed in June of this year.

When you donate to our New Iberia Chimpanzees to Sanctuary Fund, you will directly support sanctuary care for this group of chimpanzees.
