  1. How do I register for the Masquerade Dog Parade? Is there a fee?
    Click to register online. There you can choose whether you will register as an individual, or if you'd like to form or join a team. If you experience problems registering, you may call the Masquerade Dog Parade at (540) 710-2364. The registration fee is $10 per person. 

  2. Is there a fundraising requirement?
    No there is no fundraising requirement to participate. But we encourage you to raise at least $125. Why? Because it's easy and you can! Since the registration fee is minimal and covers the cost of the event, fundraising is how we can really help the animals.

    One Mile

  4. How are proceeds used from the Masquerade Dog Parade fundraising?
    The proceeds will go to the organization you associate you registration to.

  5. How can I find a participant's fundraising page?
    Go to donate and perform a search by either their first or last name.

  6. Why does the “donate” search not find the participant?
    You must enter the name in exactly the same way the participant did. Enter only the first few letters of the participant's name instead of the whole name.


  7. Where can I find a donation form?
    If you are a donor, forms may be found by searching for the participant or team you would like to donate to here.
    If you are a participant, donation forms for Masquerade Dog Parade are found in your Participant Center only. Please be sure to include your Team and/or Individual ID on the form.

  8. Who should I make my check out to?
    Checks should be made payable to: Fredericksburg Masquerade Dog Parade.

  9. Are donations tax-deductible in the United States?
    Yes. Monetary donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

  10. How can I volunteer for the Masquerade Dog Parade?
    If you would like to volunteer, please email us with the subject line "Volunteer Masquerade Dog Parade".

  11. Are there volunteer opportunities for groups?
    Groups are welcome! Let us know you're interested in volunteering as a group by emailing us with the subject line "Volunteer Group Masquerade Dog Parade".

  12. How can I form or join a team?
    If you are not yet registered for Walk Humane, register online to “Form a Team” or "Join a Team." Look for the  team you'd like to join and click the link on the far right that says 'join'. If you are already registered the event but would like to switch your registration to a team, please contact us at FredericksburgDogFair@gmail.com.

  13. Is my registration able to be transferred to another person?
    Because each registration is associated with an address, email and participant center, you cannot transfer your registration to another person.

  14. What if it rains on event day?
    Rain does not diminish the need to help animals. Walk Humane will take place rain or shine. 

  15. Will my participation in the Walk be timed?
    No. This is not a timed event.

  16. What should I remember to bring?
    Please plan to bring:
    - water bottle for you, dog bowl, pet waste bags
    - comfortable shoes
    - appropriate clothing
    - additional donations
